Get visitor feedback with Kampyle

Analytics software such as Google Analytics help us gain insights into website traffic. By revealing issues such as high bounce rates and low conversion rates you can take steps to make your websites better. But it can be difficult to know what your website visitors think about your website. Visitors can give insights that web analytics cannot. Maybe the website is confusing to use, or it is not displaying properly in a certain browser. Usability testing should eliminate many of these issues, but in practice this is not always possible. You may already offer a feedback form or “how are we doing” link, but without an admin system behind it, it can be difficult to manage and interpret the data.

Introducing Kampyle

Kampyle for Websites Feedback Analytics gives an easy way for your visitors to let let you know what they think of your website. The resulting feedback can be used to improve usability, give your website visitors a better experience and increase conversation rates.

Feedback is collected via a feedback form. A random selection of website visitors are asked if they would like to give feedback via a pop-up window. Alternatively, the website visitor can give feedback at any time by clicking the Give feedback button.

To complete the feedback the website visitor scores the website out of 5 and select a feedback topic (e.g., Bug) and relevant issue (e.g., Browser not supported), and enters in the feedback. After submitting the visitor can enter their email address if they’d like the feedback to be followed up.

Analyzing the feedback

The Feedback dashboard manages all the feedback. You can see the numeric feedback over time – for example the number of Bugs on a month by month basis. The feedback inbox allows you to read and respond to feedback (if they have submitted an email address).

Installing Kampyle

Adding Kampyle to a website is easy. After creating an account you add a few lines of code to the document head and inside the body tags.

Kampyle is completely customizable. All the text, questions and feedback topics are editable. You can design your own “give feedback” button and you have certain control over the colours used in the feedback form – meaning Kampyle can be well integrated into your website.
